Presentation of ADIC


 

ADIC (Association of PhD students and young Post-Docs of the Institut Curie) was established in the year 1997. It is officially supported by the Institut Curie and its objectives are:

  • Uniting and representing PhD students and post-docs of the Institut Curie working all disciplines offered in Paris and Orsay working in the hospital and the research units.
  • Strengthen the participation of young researchers in the scientific life at the Institut Curie.
  • Facilitating the expertises and supporting the introduction as a professional at the Institut Curie.
  • Improving the conditions of doing a PhD and promoting the doctorate.

 

These objectives are all implied in our great projects organized for many years:

  • Organization of petit-déjeuners as an interface between academics and industry.
  • Organization of an annual international congress in life sciences
  • Organizing a day of information for potential PhD students
  • Active participation at the CJC(Confederation of young researchers).
  • Establishing tutoring to PhD students at the Institut Curie.
  • Organizing Apéros and Soirées
